Are You Living Your Purpose?

A Call to Reflect, Refocus, and Rise Again

Life moves fast. And if we're not careful, we can end up chasing everything but our purpose.

Between work, family, responsibilities, and distractions from the world around us, it’s easy to lose sight of what really matters.

That’s why today, I want to encourage you to pause and ask yourself: Am I living on purpose, or am I just living on autopilot?

Take Inventory of What Matters

Let me ask you: Where has your attention been lately? What has been occupying your energy, your thoughts, your time?

Is it serving you well? Are the results you’re getting just monetary, material, or task-based? Or are they producing real fruit for you—meaning things like joy, peace, purpose, and legacy?

It’s not just about doing a lot and staying busy. Filling your time with things doesn’t mean you’re doing what matters. Instead, when we stop and take inventory of our lives and fill our time intentionally, we begin to see whether we’re building something that lasts or just running ourselves into exhaustion.

It’s not just about what you get done. It’s about what your life adds up to.

Purpose Is Found in the Pause

Late last year, I lost a loved one suddenly. Even though I’ve always encouraged others to value self-care, take breaks, and enjoy life, this loss hit differently. His passing challenged everything I thought I knew. It forced me to sit down and really evaluate how precious life is and how important it is to live it with intention.

Sometimes, it takes a hard moment to shake us out of our routine. But friend, don’t wait for a loss to remind you of what matters. Make time now to reflect. Ask God what He created you to do in the earth, then start realigning your life around that.

When you begin to operate with purpose, everything changes. Your energy shifts. Your clarity increases. You begin to move through life with boldness and joy—even in hard seasons.

Resilience Is the Path to Purpose

Let’s be honest—it’s tough out here. Life throws curveballs. But your resilience factor, what I call that bounce-back strength, is what helps you keep rising. And here's the truth: resilience is tied to purpose.

When you know why you’re here, you stop letting everything else shake you. You shed the weight of the world.

You stop trying to be everything to everyone. And you start focusing on what God assigned you to do.

Finding your purpose gives you direction. It gives you power. It gives you peace.
